01 Why is this free?
Free during early access — first 100 sign-ups lock in this access. The Pro tier with paid plans is coming once billing is in place. Pricing is announced before any paid plan starts.
02 Will my data be sold or used for ads?
No. There is no ad business and no plan for one. Analytics is product instrumentation only (PostHog), gated behind cookie consent. Your transactions and amounts never leave the database.
03 What if you stop maintaining it?
You can export your transactions, accounts, and debts to CSV at any time. A self-host option is on the roadmap — you keep running dasfas locally even if the hosted service goes away.
04 How is this different from my bank's budget tab?
Bank apps show only their own accounts. dasfas shows everything together — multiple banks, multiple currencies, fiat and crypto, on one screen. Bank apps optimize for retention; dasfas optimizes for clarity.
05 Can I export my data anytime?
Yes. CSV export from the ledger is live today. A full export of all your data is part of the launch milestone. Your data is yours.
06 How safe is connecting a bank?
Bank connections use official provider APIs with read-only scope — never write access. Tokens are encrypted at rest. You can revoke access at any time from Settings → Bank Connections.
